Misty trip to Easington and Blackhall rocks

On Saturday we continued our coastal adventure at Easington Colliery where they have a time line on the site of the colliery we found it quite educational.

The view from the hill was lovely looking out to the sea.

We then went on to Blackhall Rocks and walked along the edge of the cliffs it was a misty day and quite windy so we did not stay too long.

We have decided to journey around the coast of the UK in lots of stages

We started on Good Friday 17th April 2014
Our first port of call was the Souter Lighthouse on the coast of Tyne and Wear

We also saw Marsden Grotto

Where we tried to catch pictures of Fulmars and Cormorants

Working our way back towards home we passed Seaham Harbour, went along the front at Seaburn and back home through Sunderland
